World of Warcraft mods: SlashLib 1.01, ASTW, and Bookstore v2.0 |
Ó
When you're busy grinding your way to total pwnage, sometimes you need just a bit of help in character management. Hey, even Lv. 60 players are human (or Orc, or Undead...). Everyone has macro/micro limits.
So the World of Warcraft UI mods were born, right? Streamline work processes like commands, inventories, and other aspects of character management. We have three new ones available today for your streamlining pleasure.
First is Zax's SlashLib 1.01. It's a user-defined slash commands library that works like WoW's macro interface. Except that SlashLib works without a ton of buttons cluttering up your screen, and it works without a 255-character limitation. SlashLib's user-friendly interface will store and quickly execute built-in and add-on slash commands, scrips, and macros that you desire.
Next on the list is Slartie's Advanced Skill Trade Window (ASTW). This one's a complete replacement for WoW's tradeskill window, giving more options and depth of control than Blizzard's proprietary UI. ATSW allows the user to quickly sort, filter, and automate the item production process. It will even set up production queues and tell you if you're missing ingredients to complete a certain item.
ATSW explicitly supports ArmorCraft, LS3D craft info and Fizzwidgets ReagentCost. Other addons that change the original tradeskill window will probably not work with ATSW.
Finally, BookStore. We actually have TWO related downloads of BookStore, from Krakhaan of Khaz'goroth (deffling). He modified the original BookStore to v2.0, which carries the Titan plugin and 20 shelves. You can read and keep up to 240 books, parchments, and letters.
Let us know how these work out, 'kay? Especially the BookStore one. Sounds promising, but the mod author didn't include detailed descriptions. And ATSW's still pre-v1.0, so there may be some bugs to work out, says its author.
