World of Warcraft saves boy's life from angry moose - Image 1Here's another proof that video games serve not only as an entertainment diversion for players but as a source of survival skills in real life as well.

A Norwegian boy, accordingly, was recently saved by Blizzard's World of Warcraft from certain death. Here's what happened: Hans Joergen Olsen was outside his home, walking in the woods with his 10 year old sister.

An angry moose suddenly appeared and tried to attack the two children. Olsen's sister immediately ran away. The boy, however, tried to scare the moose away but failed to do so.

The moose chased him down and then head butted him in the back. The boy shared the following account to a local newspaper:

When I noticed the moose wasn't stopping I started to run also. The moose chased me and after a while I had no strength left to run. When you get to level 30, you learn the skill "Feign Death", so that is what I did, and after a little while the moose walked away.

For those not familiar with this, Feign Death is very important to Hunters in World of Warcraft especially when their life is low. With this spell they can appear dead and lose all aggro. We're just happy that the moose didn't resist the boy's Feign Death maneuver.

and sorry to say, but the truth is feigning death was learned from school. Usually titled, "when meeting a bear", different animal same concept. Not all people can stay calm and just pretend to die though, so good job for him.
