Warcraft movie coming in 2011, will chronicle Lich King's rise? |
Ó

While concrete details about Sam Raimi's Warcraft movie remain undisclosed, a possible hint has shown up on the ever-popular Internet Movie Database.
According to the online movie repository, the Warcraft movie now carries the subtitle, "The Rise of the Lich King," suggesting firm ties with the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. It's also possible that the movie will include the events in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos.
The movie's IMDB listing also includes a supposed 2011 release. Of course, the IMDB is not a 100% accurate source, so let's keep this filed under the rumor section for now.

It might sell tickets but I bet it doesent get more then 1/2 a star.
Sam Raimi has a decent track record thought, eh? And I was reading IMDB comments.. It's SMART they're doing it on the Fall of Arthas .. or the Rise of the Lich King or whatever, because even though it would be pretty much WCIII with real people, it has substance.. An interesting plot where you actually care about what happens next, main and supporting characters who are vital to Arthas, and yeah it's like the Anakin Skywalker
hit tab enter like an idiot. **Like the Anakin Skywalker of Warcraft, and that's what intrigues people.. going from good to evil
