Upcoming WoW hardware update and downtime

Better start wrapping up those questing plans as the folks over at Blizzard Entertainment have just announced that a number of realms in the MMORPG World of Warcraft will be taken down for hardware maintenance this coming Tuesday, November 7 at 12:00 AM PST. They have also noted that the maintenance may take a full 24 hours and may extend up to November 8 at 12:00 PM PST.

The said maintenance is being done in preparation for the upcoming WoW expansion, The Burning Crusade. The realms that will be affected by the work are listed below, so if your character happens to be in those realms, then maybe now would be a good time to figure out what to do on those days.

Guitar Hero II!

This is no problem, for Guitar Hero II comes out Tuesday and I would have a self-imposed WoW downtime anytime to play that. Great timing, Blizzard!
