The Wrath of the Lich King site update: chapter 2 now available

While it's not a requirement for the newer guys, it always pays to know a little more about the story behind every happening in the World of Warcraft. Aside from making the quests easier, it makes the adventure all the more alluring, and ever more immersive. 

That much can also be said of the upcoming Wrath of the Lich King expansion, which has just received a new update to its official website. Blizzard has posted the continuation of the plot behind this latest game expansion, with chapter 2 narrating the tragic tale of Arthas, the Paladin-turned-Death Knight who currently bears Frostmourne.

As a quick recap, chapter one details the eventual corruption of Ner'zhul, the former Orc shaman whom players may know more commonly as the Lich King.

Guys who've already played through Warcraft III and its Frozen Throne expansion are advised to move along - you've already played through this... and probably viewed the awesome video cut scenes that came with it. For the newcomers, however, feel free to click on the read link to read this latest chapter in the World of Warcraft storyline. The Lich King awaits...
