rotscaleThe Guild Wars Scribe is back and sent word that the dreaded Rotscale Army has started to grow in numbers around Rotscale tomb located in Majesty's Rest. This could mean that the dragon and his undead army are protecting something. Legend has it that Rotscale have slain many travelers making the trek from Ascalon to Kryta. Since then, the beast made the western boarder of Kryta its home, which poses more danger to the already perilous journey from Kryta to the Maguuma Jungle.

Brave individuals who have attempted to slay the beast, returned to claim that Rotscale is indeed protecting a  great treasure. No one knows what this great treasure is, but information points to a weapon of some sort.  Potentially of great value, the treasure has sparked interest in the dragon. As such, the number of corpses near the dragon's roost has increased, some of them now in the service of their murderer.

Those who want a piece of the dragon should rethink their plans as even the bravest soldiers end up dead. It's wise to choose the best allies to fight the Rotscale Army. Word of the wise: start your journey to the Temple of Ages, where a hordes of dragon slayers await.

The Scribe also wrote about the Mesmer. It's not the most popular profession to embrace, but they are unmatched in their ability to counter strategies. He wrote, "Some who do not know better have been heard to say that Mesmers are second-rate fighters, and a few veteran soldiers foolishly decline to ally with Mesmers in combat. I assure you that a skilled Mesmer in your party can make any task easier. This is proved by their ability to slay individual opponents effortlessly, including those—such as the Monk—who are often the most challenging to defeat. Do not underestimate the powers of Mesmers or you will soon feel the wrath of their twin goddesses."
