Star Wars Galaxy rolls out Chapter 6 |
Ó

Men and women of the council, hear, hear! Star Wars Galaxies has just expanded their universe (universes are perpetually expanding anyways) and has rolled out Chapter 6, which introduces two new major features: Storyteller and Beast Master abilities.
The first feature enhances story-driven gameplay by giving you a new set of objects to play around with in your galactic sandbox. New props, effects, and even NPCs are made available to place around your backdrop. Invite other players into your constructed game and watch them interact, attack, and go through your own world. To start your Storytelling journey though, you'd have to purchase some tokens from theaters throughout the galaxy.
As for the Beast Master, this ability allows you to manage, cultivate, and place your steady hand over the various pets and fauna in the game. The ability grants you Beast Incubation, updated pet toolbars, and a "Revive Beast" skill, among a lot of other nuances. For now, here's just an excerpt of other publish notes that come with Chapter 6:
- Mounts and Vehicles
- Mounts/vehicles: You can no longer call a mount or vehicle while rooted.
- Vehicles: You can no longer enter a vehicle while rooted.
- Combat Changes: There have been significant changes to the internal workings of our combat engine. Game play for the end user should remain unchanged, but some new results are possible once you pull the trigger.
