Square Enix hints at new jobs in Wings of the Goddess |

There's still no release date slated for Final Fantasy XI's new expansion, Wings of the Goddess, but early word from the Square Enix newsletter is that there will be new jobs available. As to how many and what they are, the devs are keeping it all under wraps for now.The news, of course, generated excitement but concerns have been raised as to how useful or playable these new jobs will be. Some have brought up their experience playing as the Puppet Master, Blue Mage and Corsair classes in the past expansions and expressed fear over what significance the Wings of the Goddess class will have.
Other details suggest that Wings of the Goddess will have a lot to do with Vana'diel's past. The biggest speculation as of the moment is that time travel may become an option. All of that remains to be seen, and we'll update you to confirm the buzz.

Uh.. The dev team confirmed new jobs in several interviews at E3..
It's also stated right on the FFXI website, in the Fan Fest section that the dev team will be discussing new areas, JOBS, monsters, missions and quests relating to Wings of the Goddess...
