Sony Increases Station Access Subscription Rate to $24.99 |

Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) will be increasing the subscription rate for Station Access effective June 1, 2006. The new rate will be $24.99, up $3 from its current price of $21.99 per month. Though this may be a bad news to gamers on tight budget, SOE has included The Matrix Online and Star Wars Galaxies in the catalogue, as well as incorporated the Adventure Packs for EverQuest II at no additional fee, including The Fallen Dynasty due out this summer.Station Access is an account subscription option that SOE is offering to customers who want to subscribe to more than one SOE game. The cost of operating the game service has increased significantly prompting SOE to increase its rate.
Subscribers will be automatically migrated to the new billing structure when their current subscription plans expire. Subscription rates are subject to tax and value-added taxes, as applicable.
