Rogues underrepresented in World of Warcraft's Arenas - Image 1A few gamers have pointed out that there are no Rogues in the top 5v5 Arena teams of World of Warcraft. This class is arguably the highest DPS dealers in the game, so why didn't they make the cut?

Surprisingly though, members of the class haven't been very hostile about this situation, with those who have hit the level cap noting that it all depends on the skill of the player controlling the rogue.

That's understandable considering that the damage output of rogues (especially non-crit based ones) in 2v2 matches is just amazing. Blizzard Poster/ Community Manager Salthern took the time to address this issue in the Europe WoW Forums:

I can't believe no one made a joke about stealth yet. Because only saying that could be construed as trolling.

I better confirm what Dain [one of the posters on the thread] said, that all under represented classes in the arena, and that includes Rogues, are being looked into. Resolving balance issues like that is tricky and won't be instantaneous, but we're on it.

It makes one wonder how they will balance this class out. It would be nice to see the Rogue class in the spotlight every now and then in the Arena scene.
