PSA: WoW realms to undergo emergency maintenance tonight

Attention World of Warcraft players. Blizzard poster Drysc went on the WoW Forums to announce that several realms will be undergoing urgent maintenance tonight at 5:00 A.M. PDT. The poster didn't indicate the cause of the downtime and only expressed apologies for the inconvenience it will cause players.

The affected realms are as follows:

• Antonidas
• Anub'arak
• Blackwater Raiders
• Bladefist
• Cenarion Circle
• Cenarius
• Darrowmere
• Drenden
• Echo Isles
• Farstriders
• Fenris
• Hydraxis
• Hyjal
• Korialstrasz
• Lightbringer
• Maiev
• Misha
• Mok'Nathal
• Moon Guard
• Nazgrel
• Nordrassil
• Quel'dorei
• Ravenholdt
• Rivendare
• Shandris
• Shu'halo
• Sisters of Elune
• The Forgotten Coast
• Tortheldrin
• Uther
• Vashj

According to the announcement, the affected realms will be down for approximately two hours. If all goes as planned, that makes the expected time for the said realms to be back up by 7:00 A.M. PDT. So be forewarned, you will have to postpone any planned raids or other World of Warcraft activities early this morning. We'll bring you updates in case the maintenance goes for longer than planned.
