Non-theological arguments among Priests

Undead Shadow Priest - Image 1More on priest nerfs? Well, no, not really. WoW Forum member Pawne waxed poetic in his thread in the WoW Forums recently. He so eloquently said, in the prose of Seuss:

I don't heal shadowpriests... EVER.
I do not heal them in PvE
I do not heal them in PvP
I do not heal them there
I do not heal them anywhere

So much is Pawne's hate for shadowpriests that whenever his group invites a Shadow Priest over, he always threatens that either the new priest is out, or he's out.

Reactions of course were mixed, some agree with him, saying that Shadow Priests don't really need to be healed. Some on the other side had this to say to Pawne: "Shut up. I give back mana and health. People love me. Just because you're bitter doesn't mean you have to take it out on us shadow priests."

From that point, on the thread descends into hilarity, with other priests tearing him apart over defying priest unity, not having decent gear, not being level 70, and whatever (all of the said tearing courtesy of The Armory).

He defends himself by calling them nerds, folks call him a bigot. But then, if you're arguing on a WoW Forum, you probably have a small nerdy/geeky streak to your personality right?

Anyway, what's your take on Shadow Priests? Especially since some guilds really don't seem to like having them.
