More World of Warcraft Arena clarifications - seasons |
Ó
Hmm... It seems that there are still more things to clarify in the World of Warcraft Arena Tournament. This time for those confused about the Arena seasons.
Blizzard poster Drysc was kind enough to shed some light into the conundrum. Okay, let's start with the basics. According to the blue poster, "The tournament has nothing to do with the end of the in-game season. They're completely separate events." The tournament is just using the standings of the top teams who will then be pitted against each other. After that, the 5v5 cream of the crop will compete with other regions to get the best of the best.
The cut off date where we look at the current standings and pick out the top teams is April 15, this doesn't end the in-game season, it's simply us picking the top teams as of that point to compete elsewhere. The end of the actual in-game season isn't currently set.
There you have it folks. The Arena's still open for those interested to be crowned the best team, you can choose to work your way up in this season (the one until April 15) or sharpen your skills and wait for the next season to dominate.
