Details on Lineage II - The Chaotic Throne: Interludewere disclosed by North American Associate Producer NCSoft's Lineage II, Tim Tan. The game produced by NCSoft has already drawn the attention and patronage of over 14 million subscribers worldwide. This latest expansion will have dinosaurs that will be located on Primeval Isle.
Located to the south of Rune Castle, Primeval Isle was discovered by an explorer named Lucas from the kingdom of Elmore. Lucas was once a nobleman of Elmore, but he refused to participate in the Aden-Elmore War. This action caused him to lose his rank and his family honor. Determined to restore his family name, he departed on a ship to find new lands that would provide resources the kingdom of Elmore needed.
The island has a sub-tropical climate with a unique ecosystem. Within which includes enormous animals called dinosaurs whose fangs are valued for their use in the production of weapons and decorative ornaments. Needless to say craft items constructed from fangs of dinosaurs fetch high prices. The island is rich in terms of war supplies, but it's natural resources are a bit sparse. Since it is considered a Rune Territory, inhabitants of Primeval Isle must pay taxes to Rune.
Giants and primitive creatures inhabit Primeval Island. When Einhasad created the five generations of creatures, she wanted to isolate certain creatures in one area. She ordered the giants to bring the primitive creatures to the island and they were sealed deep under the ocean. Until the awakening of ShilenÂ’s Seal, they remained dormant. A volcanic eruption in the midst of the magical tempest caused by the awakening woke these creature. On a certain part of the island, the seal used to capture the primitive creatures can be found. However, no one really knows the full details of the SealÂ’s power.
Other intelligent life forms can be found on the island as well. The Elroki Tribe, an intelligent reptilian race that has adopted to the environment, co-exist with the savage creature found in the island. A wharf to the north of Primeval Isle was put up by adventurers from the mainland. The human adventurers and the Elrokians have a very tentative peace agreement. However, cultural differences have caused tensions to gradually increase.
