Lead Designer Ben Miller talks about Guild Wars: Eye of the North

Here is a gameplay demo video for upcoming Guild Wars: Eye of the North. The voice you'll hear after playing the clip is from ArenaNet's lead designer">Ben Miller, ArenaNet's lead designer for the upcoming expansion. And who better talk about a video game than the designer himself, right? Right.

Eye of the North is considered the first true expansion for Guild Wars which has been around for a couple of years now. Prior to this full expansion, three unique campaigns were released namely Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfalls. Each one has its own distinct content but all are interconnected.

In this video, Ben Miller discussed the different features that will come with Eye of the North. These include multi-level dungeons, new skills for all professions, heroes and armor sets among others. The expansion is expected to ship in Europe this month with a suggested retail price of US$ 48.

Voices?!

Hey, I'm a hardcore guild wars fan. I've been playing it since the very begining. I love this demo and am really looking forward to the GWEN release. I have one question: I heard voices in the demo while a character was "talking" with NPC's, but in previous guild wars games there was no audio involved in such "conversations". Is this added audio a new feature in Eye of the North? If you know anything about this subject please post it on this page. TY SKN
