Guild Wars: On the old and new GvG Ladder |
Ó

After giving all you Guild Wars players the lowdown on Build Design and the whatnots in between, NCSoft is back to inform their users of yet another one of the latest developments in the game. And this time, it's all about the GvG ladder, baby.
As you all know, the whole GvG ladder system will soon be given a total makeover, with less emphasis on the importance of free play and more on making the system streamlined. Naturally, guilds will still earn ELO points from matches during free play, but these points won't be as important as those you'll earn in daily qualifying tournaments, as well as the monthly and annual championships.
And since the ladder system, as mentioned, will soon undergo a system overhaul, some things are gonna change. Over at the Guild Wars forums, they've posted a quite intensive article on the stuff that's going to change as well as the aspects that the new system will retain post-makeover. It starts by stating the company's goals in undertaking this system overhaul and then gives you the basic mechanics of the GvG ladder. Information on farming, build consistency, and scheduling and observer mode can also be found in the feature article.
So if you wanna get the lowdown on the old AND new GvG ladder, you might wanna check out the article, which you can access by clicking on the read link below.
