Guild Wars official site gives props to notable guilds

Tired of slogging through some no name MMO, farming your butt off, building your Guild to the size of a small nation, and not getting any props for it? Like it or not situations like that do happen, that's why most "big" Guilds put up their own sites so that they can put themselves out there.

What's good now-a-days is that the "bigger" game companies are making an effort to satisfy their user base in ways that's apt for their community. For example, a sizable list of all notable Guilds to date is now up for viewing at the Guild Wars official Website. The page they've got cites championship rankings, records guild recognition in various forms of media, and notes other unique acomplishments.

It's good that the ArenaNet and NCSoft are taking extra steps to "reward" or at least commend its community. Especially since Guild Wars by nature is a very "competitive" game. Moreover, this "notable" list is a bit more broad than your basic "tourney ladder", so hopefully everyone gets the props they deserve.
