Heads up, Guild Wars fans! There's another Double-Your-Fun Weekend scheduled for the end of this week in Cantha.Guild Wars (in our humble opinion) is a beautiful and cool game. It's going to be twice as nice from August 11 to August 13 because your chances of getting a rare drop from any chest in Cantha is doubled. Of course, there's also an increase in the drop rate for keys.
This is a great weekend to increase your collection of cool items.
The rare item bonanza starts at noon (Pacific Daylight Time) on Friday, August 11, and ends at 11:59 PM, Pacific Daylight Time, Sunday.
By the way, Guild Wars fans might also want to check out the August/September 2006 issue of "Massive Online Gamer" magazine because Guild Wars is the cover story. We're not sure if you've heard of the magazine because it's relatively new. But in my humble opinion, it may be worth checking out because it's from Beckett Media, but don't take my word on it just yet. I still haven't gotten my hands on a copy, and I've only seen mixed reviews from those who have (some people really love it, and some people really, really, really hate it). But hey, it's from Beckett Media. They're the fantasy and sci-fi collectible media giant, don't you know? I remember many a dateless Friday night when I would peruse their magazines...
Anyway, back to the Guild Wars coverage in "Massive Online Gamer." The Ritualist is on the cover. And inside there's an article about Factions and a PvP primer that might come in handy.
