Guild Wars Announces Guild Wars Factions Preview Event |

ArenaNet, the company behind the popular Guild Wars MMORPG, has organized a Guild Wars Factions
preview event being held online. It's ongoing and will run until
exactly 11:59 p.m. on March 29th - if you'd like to join in, you'll
have to move fast!
Factions is Guild Wars' first expansion pack. It's been given that name because players will be joining forces with one of the two factions, Luxon and Kurzick, who are dueling for control of the breathtaking new continent of Cantha, the Guild Wars saga's newest world. Guild Wars players who buy Factions will be able to travel back and forth between Cantha and Tyria.
This will be players' first chance to immerse themselves in the situation there. NPCs will fill all participants in on the two competing Factions, and the action picks up from there. Guild Wars is allowing participants to play PvP and roleplaying characters, and also to join story missions and competitive missions - as well as a new form of PvP called 'alliance battles'.
