Fits like a glove(?): WoW Arena rewards analysis |
Ó
One of the more interesting features reported over at World of Warcraft's arena rewards site are the new gloves (i.e., armor). Going into specifics, WoW Insider mentions that each of the featured gloves carries buffs that work for specific classes - such as an increased range for Mage spells or a .01 second cast time reduction for the Druid's Cyclone spell. What makes this particular analysis interesting is that while all the classes receive perks, three specific jobs were noticed to receive better overall upgrades: warlock, shaman, and rogue. On the other end of the spectrum, priests and druids received "unimpressive" buffs. For example:
Priest: Both priest sets give an increased Psychic Scream duration of 1 second. This sounds nicer than it is, because fears usually don't last the full duration.
Warlock: Warlocks have two sets for some reason, and I'll be damned if I can tell which spec each is supposed to be for. Affliction and Destruction, maybe? Anyway, the bonuses are 50 percent chance to avoid damage interruption while casting fear and the same chance to avoid damage interruption while casting Searing Pain. The fear bonus is excellent, while the Searing Pain one is pretty meh due to low usage.
Do keep in mind that this is just an opinion. Of course, readers are welcome to comment on these new gloves, or how they've impacted your gameplay.

chance to avoid interruption on casting searing pain is great for deestruction locks cause it is one of the most used spells :) destruction talent tree has a talent that improves critical strike chance of searing pain and some other talents that improve fire spells damage so it is a good bonus :)
