"A tale once lost is about to be retold" is the tagline of Wings of the Goddess, the latest expansion for Final Fantasy XI Online. Wings of the Goddess is looking really good in an FF sort of way (if you're into that kind of thing). This MMORPG has been criticized for the rather steep learning curve of the game, not to mention the amount of time one must invest in playing. Still, what MMORPG doesn't have the same problems?
The development of this new expansion was announced at the Square Enix Party 2007, and to coincide with this, they have launched the official site for the said add-on as well. While rather sparse at the moment (they have a video posted, but that's pretty much it), the site will eventually offer the latest development details and exclusive images of Wings of the Goddess.

I wonder what new jobs they will implement into the game. From the way the video looked, it seems to take place in the past, about the same time as the opening cinematic for the game. So I guess we'll be entering some method to travel back in time to experience these areas and events. Most of those areas they showed were areas outside the beastmen stronghold but where ruins are in today's game, there was full walls and gates. Hmm.
