Sony Online Entertainment's Everquest team is hosting a new event for Everquest players, called the "Dawn of the Clockworks" contest. In it, SOE hopes their MMORPG's players will create and introduce interesting new clockwork contraptions that will astound people everywhere!
Here's what you have to do, according to the folks at SOE:
Using building blocks, tinker sets, electronic supplies, and/or other gadgets, EverQuest community engineers have this opportunity to create real-life clockworks to assist Meldrath or Ak'Anon. As you create the clockwork, take pictures or video showing the creation process and the final product. The clockwork does not have to actually work but if you submit a video, you should probably explain why it doesn't move!
One first-place winner will receive the following prizes:
- One EverQuest Secrets of Faydwer Retail Box (Retail Value: $39.99)
- Four sets of the official Secrets of Faydwer dice. (Retail Value: $7.96)
