EverQuest Producer Worley wants community help in UI improvements |
Ó
Sony Online Entertainment Producer for the MMORPG EverQuest, Clint Worley (aka Jourdian), recently came up with a blog entry detailing his thoughts regarding the user interface of the game that has been highly successful against hacking and cheating.
Worley shared that aside from the already mentioned, the UI of EQ has also been effective when it comes to fighting zone stability. Despite this, however, Worley said as well that he recognizes the small efforts of the community in improving EverQuest.
The producer added that he is currently discussing things with SOE as to how these "efforts" can be officially incorporated into the game. He explained:
Since UI is such a subjective topic it makes it difficult for substantial progress to be made on the Dev side. I know that there are many of you that have a “solution” for some of the larger UI lingering issues.
I am talking to the community people at SOE to see if there is any way to have a focused discussion / submission regarding specific UI areas in the game.
Lastly, Clint Worley is encouraging fans and players of EverQuest to give suggestions to him via the source link below. He started the discussion by saying that one viable solution is to tackle the UI problem one area at a time.
