EverQuest II: Rise of Kunark Content and Instances interview video |
Ó
In th is video, we learn from senior producer Scott Hartsman about some of the things we should be looking forward to come the expansion's November release. Not only do we get a new race to play around with, the level cap has been upped considerably - up to 80 - so that means the arms and power race is to begin yet again.
He also elaborated on the striking art style that's recently been introduced into Sony's EverQuest II. It seems that at first, the production team was aiming for photo-realistic graphics. It was then that they decided to opt for a more high-quality, high-fantasy edge to the visual design - with the reasoning that if players wanted to experience realistic graphics, they'd get out of their house and do so.
This and lots more info in the video embed below. Enjoy!
