EverQuest II announces rewards for four-year veterans |
Ó
The rewards for four-year veterans of EverQuest II have been revealed, much to the delight of players who have reached that milestone in their MMORPG playing. Among the items that were revealed include a new item which reduces the rent on the houses as well as a disguise which turns players into a mystic moppet. If you've been playing the game for four years, you probably already have a house of your own. Now paying for the upkeep of the location can be a drag, but the Treasure Horde reward makes it much easier. This item drops the rent of the house by 25%. In the long run, the savings you get from this will help you purchase more stuff for your character or your house.
Veteran players will also be pleased with the Mystic Moppet Billy. This reward shapechanges the caster to a mystic moppet and shrinks the character by 40%. While this ability can't be used in combat, it is a good way of hiding oneself from other players when you just want to be alone.
Finally, the vets will be getting 3 helpings of Draft of the Skilled and Draft of the Wise. The two potions give the user 55% XP gains to Tradeskill and Adventure experience respectively. These items are extremely useful for those times when you need to power level your character in preparation for an event.
All in all, the items being given to the veterans are pretty good. It's no wonder that the player base of EverQuest II has remained strong with all of the rewards long term players have been getting.
