Finally, after all that waiting, Sony Online Entertainment has finally announced that the expansion packs for both EverQuest and EverQuest II are on sale today. EverQuest's Secrets of Faydwer and EverQuest II's Rise of Kunark expansions will be available for US$ 39.99 each. You can either do it the old fashioned way and buy them from stores or do it the new-fashioned way: purchased download.
If you're not in the mood to buy it just now (or you just don't have the money), you can always just stare at these new screenshots for EverQuest's Secrets of Faydwer, the fourteenth expansion for this massive MMORPG, adding 15 new zones and thousands of new items in the game.
