EverQuest 2: Rise of Kunark screenshots and details

Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) has released a new batch of screenshots from Rise of Kunark, the fourth expansion pack for EverQuest 2. Here's a quick list of what's coming in the new expansion.
  • All-New Player Race - The Sarnak, the classic dragon-like humanoid creature that now inhabits Timorous Deep.
  • New Starting Area - The islands of Timorous Deep. There's also new housing at the Village of Gorowyn.
  • Level Cap Raised - Adventure, Tradeskill and Guild levels all increased to 80.
  • More Unique Zones - The Emerald Jungle, Skyfire Mountains, Sebilis, Karnor's Castle and more.
  • Hundreds of New Quests - Kunark's story unfolds through hundreds of new quests for solo, group, and raid.
  • More Weapons & Armor - New Epic Weapon quests for all 24 classes, with new weapons for both those who raid and those who choose not to. Players can acquire additional fabled and legendary armor sets as well.
  • New Mount - The Kunarkian Rhinoceros.
  • New Deities - Bertoxxulous The Plaguebringer, Karana The Rain Keeper, and the mysterious Tribunal return to exert their influences on planet.
  • Dozens of New NPCs
The Rise of Kunark expansion pack is currently in development and is expected to hit on or around November 13. The expansion pack will be available both through retail stores and digital download for US$ 39.99. Check out the screenshots below. There's more behind the Full Article link.

Charging the customer again and again is how SOE stays in business. EQ1 is on its 14th expansions . I don't know about other MMO players butt having to open up my private (wallet) 14 times and 4 times just to stay current? Well I don't think I could take that sitting down ( and after all of that, I don't think I could - Muahahaha).

EQ2 is doing a new expansion every year, and I'm defiantly willing to pay $40.00 a year for another year of brand new content. Its just like any game, for example you might get tired of playing grand theft auto because you remember the maps, and quests so it gets boring. So what do the developers do? They create a grand theft auto 2 so your no longer bored with the first.
