EverQuest 2: Echoes of Faydwer beta NDA released |

A few weeks ago, fans of EverQuest 2: Echoes of Faydwer were itching to know what beta testers have to say about the Echoes of Faydwer Beta. Beta testers are sworn to secrecy until the NDA has been lifted. We could never keep a secret to save our own hide so we don't know how it feels to be a beta tester. But below is one beta testers thoughts on the "vow of shut the hell up" they agreed to follow:
It was at this point in the story of Norrath that cyanbane understood that he was caught in an infinite loop, forever doomed to a life where he could play Echoes of Faydwer but was never allowed to talk about it. He did however take solitude in knowing that any other beta tester was unable to talk about the expansion either.
Soon this elite squad of beta testers understood that they were forever only allowed to speak with each other about EoF for the rest of their natural lives. At this point, they all decided as a collective, that the only way that they could ever speak of this expansion to anyone was to become... undead.
However, the beta testers did not fully comprehend the creativity of the lawyers. Clause 7a.) stated that "the user agreed to respect all IP laws put forth in said document, regardless of what plane of existence they were from or would travel too."
Lyndro's plan had worked. He now had control of his undead army, little did the beta population know that by clicking that "I agree" they swore allegiance to Lyndro through life and death. The first phase of his attack plan on Blizzard's headquarters was complete.... Now he just had to arm his soldiers...
Uh, okay.... Anyway the last time we checked the forum we saw a message from SOE)">Scott Hartsman, Senior Producer, EverQuest II: "The confidentiality period for Echoes of Faydwer Beta is officially over. When you begin seeing posts containing Echoes of Faydwer information, there's no need to report anyone. Feel free to discuss at will."
Now that the EverQuest 2: Echoes of Faydwer: Beta info blackout is over we'd love to tell you what the beta testers have to say. If only one of them would actually post a comment. We'll check back later to see how this thread is going.
