For those fans of City Of Villains, lead game designer Matt Miller revealed the background of the mysterious Scirocco in a recent interview.According to Miller, Scirocco was once known as Imad Malak. One day, fleeing through the desert, he discovered the tomb of an ancient hero - who had been buried with a magic scimitar that gave great powers to whoever wields it.
Taking the enchanted sword, Malak became Scirocco, the Desert Wind. His intentions were to use the sword to liberate his people - but (as we've seen all to clearly in the real world), absolute power corrupts absolutely. Eventually, he lost his heroic status, and was exiled.
Scirocco continued as a warrior, earning a fearsome reputation that eventually brought him to the attention of Arachnos. Eventually, he was invited to join Lord Recluse's inner circle.
