City of Heroes: West Coast server maintenance

The official City of Heroes site has just announced that their West Coast servers will be going down later today for some much-needed maintenance work. The downtime is expected to start at 6 a.m. Pacific time and will last for about six hours. Keep note of this if you happen to be on the following servers:

Champion
Guardian
Justice
Protector
Virtue

Don't drop your guard if even if you don't reside in the servers mentioned. NCSoft's techs note that the following services may experience problems for CoH's other realms:

Character Rename Service
Character Transfer Service
Global Chat
Consignment Market in-game Auctions

More importantly, those residing in the East Coast servers will want to be wary of these possible problems that may rise during the West Coast maintenance:

Disconnection from Global Chat Channels and/or a reset of your Global Chat Channels
No access to the Character Rename and Character Transfer Services
Inability to access items stored on the Consignment Markets, or to view or place bids on items for sale or place items up for sale
