City of Heroes to get Debt Wipe, Prestige Grant on December 10

After the surprising NCsoft acquisition of the City of Heroes franchise from Cryptic Studios, it is only natural for players and everyone concerned about the MMORPG to expect major changes.

While we are still uncertain regarding the extent of these changes, NCsoft announced features that will directly affect the residents of Paragon City. Accordingly, a new character Debt Wipe and Supergroup Prestige Grant will be activated beginning December 10.

Here's the exact word of NCsoft about these features:

Prestige Grant: Supergroups will receive an additional 20,000 Prestige per Supergroup member on December 10! This means SGs could acquire up to three million Prestige based upon their Supergroup membership roster! This is a one time grant, based strictly on the number of people in the Supergroup at the time the grant is done.
Debt Wipe: It's time to get crazy! We will be clearing out any accrued debt on December 10! So, get out and find some spectacular ways to take a faceplant! Organize some chaos events and generally have some fun!

That's about it for now for MMORPG City of Heroes. Take note that these will only happen on December 10. So if you are interested, be sure to log on on that day to avail of these features.
