City of Heroes: Issue 12 closed beta begins for NCSoft crew

Wondering what sort of adventures NCSoft's been up to lately withing their City of Heroes MMORPG? According to community mod Lighthouse, the game's devs have just begun the close beta phase of the MMORPG's upcoming Issue 12: Midnight Hour expansion.

We stress the word close here, given that the testing's reportedly being done by a small crew of NCsoft employees, along with their family and friends. Issue 12's close beta stage is expected to add in more testers as it gets put through its paces when the need arises. Dare we say - that's community bonding for you.

For the guys feeling a little left out with this update, there's good news. The devs are also sending word that they're planning an open beta phase in the near future. One feature that you may want to look out for in Issue 12 is the improved Character Creator, which enables you to alter your existing character's costume.
