City of Heroes invite players to try Veteran Rewards |

City of Heroes players, rejoice! Your
Community Relations Manager, Lighthouse, left a message today at the game's official forum site that is sure to wake the heroes in you. The highly anticipated Veteran Rewards of the equally awaited free expansion, "Issue 8: To Protect and Serve",is now available on the Training Room server."We invite any interested player to visit the Training Room and try out the awards available to them," declares Lighthouse. The Veteran Rewards give active players gifts like badges, powers and costumes depending on their performance every three months. The system is retroactive as well, meaning rewards are available for all characters of a player.
Lighthouse also announced that the new Account Management System is already up so players could view the total time accumulated toward Veteran Rewards, a list of Veteran Rewards available, and any future Veteran Rewards that your current subscription will include. Just go to PlayNC.com and you're all set.
As to when the expansion will come out, the community manager has this words posted: "Barring any major issues that come up from play testing, we plan to bring Issue 8 to the live servers with enough lead time so that we will be in a good position to make any adjustments to it prior to the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday (Nov. 23rd)."
