If you're one of the many paragons of justice/injustice playing in NCsoft's heroic MMORPG, City of Heroes/City of Villains, then consider this a fair warning through the game's official website: An ancient evil is about to once more overtake the entire digital realm as we know it. Nothing is safe, not even the Rogue Isles - and it's up to both the Heroes and Villains to combat this threat.
Just who (or what) is planning to attack, you ask? Here's the entire news post, verbatim:
Brace yourselves as the full fury of the Rikti Invasion Force is set to descend upon Paragon City and the Rogue Isles starting on Friday, April 18th and continuing through Thursday, April 24th.
Yes, you read that right. It's the Rikti Invasion Force, and they're back for more. And this time, they're not just stopping by Paragon City, they're also bent on conquering the Rogue Isles too. So for those of us donning the villain spandex outfits, you'll have to do your part. Updates as we get them!
