Chronicle 5: Oath of Blood is now released in North America and Europe. All Lineage II subscribers are entitled to play the expansion for free. This time around, NCSoft has come up with far more exciting changes which were generated by the Lineage II players' feedbacks. Multiple systems were revamped -- the aim of which is to make Chronicle 5 appeal to newcomers and veterans alike.
Studio E&G points out some interesting changes which include:
- Systems changes - new and lower level players will progress faster.
- Revitalized PvP systems plus increased level cap - players of all levels can be successful and even more to aspire to.
- New items and other enhancements - the additions make the make the game more rewarding without sacrificing the challenge that Lineage II is known for.
- New Academy in clan system - helps clan members rapidly train up and become powerful members much more quickly than before.
- The addition of Rune and Schuttgart castles and powerful beasts such as Frintezza and Benom - increase the challenge for mid- and upper-level players
By the looks of it, it seems the expansion for Lineage II fans is well worth the wait.
