Today, Beckett Media (best known for its sports trading cards) announced the launch of Beckett Massive Online Gamer. The print magazine covers existing MMOs like World of Warcraft and Guild Wars and forthcoming titles like Gods and Heroes and Warhammer. Beckett promises behind-the-scenes look at MMO gaming communities as well as community driven topics.

"Beckett Massive Online Gamer was very well received at E3 in Los Angeles and we have added a number of advertisers for the next issue already," sys Mike Obert, Associate Publisher at Beckett Media. "Overall the feedback we have received reinforces our feeling that this community will embrace this publication since it addresses a number of topics that are hot button issues for the serious and casual gamer."

Beckett Massive Online Gamer will have a cover price of $5.99 and will be available at 50,000 retail locations nationwide.
