Blizzard lets Oceanic players choose realm type |
Ó
For a while now, it has been pretty congested in the Oceanic servers of WoW. North American players have been asking Blizzard Entertainment to open up at least another server to lessen the load. Another concern is that there have been some issues regarding the paid character transfers. To the delight of fans, Tseric dropped by WoW's forum site today carrying good news about both problems."Particularly in regards to Khaz'Goroth, the paid transfers remained on longer than they should. We are making the proper adjustments to prevent this from happening in the future and sincerely apologize for the error," writes Tseric. Furthermore, the listed realm together with Frostmourne will be posted "full" up until the matter is resolve.
Regarding the congestion issue, Tseric announces that Blizzard for the meantime is allowing early transfers to the newer Dath'Remar server. Normally, things like this cost players some six months of waiting time. While they are considering the new realm to be a PvP, they want to know what fans prefer. It is in this light that players are encouraged to send in their suggestions. Blizzard then will tally the responses and follow fans' wishes.
