As much as some folks are feeling particularly cantankerous over their Priests in Azeroth at the moment, folks who spend a reasonable amount of time in the Auction House, will enjoy this update.
When WoW Forum member Kyeni asked if it was possible for Blizzard to implement an easy means of searching for sockets in the Auction House, Blizzard Poster Drysc responded in this manner: "We have a change to the Auction House UI in production for release with a future patch that will add a Gem section to the AH item list."
People started spewing various Internet jargon that expresses their joy over the update. Things like w00t, yay, r0xx0r, etc. were said. When someone eventually bothered to ask how it'll work, Drysc was quick to answer his inquiry by saying: "It will be a section called gems, you can then search through all of them or I believe there may be sub-sections where you can filter by color."
Well there you have it folks, filter, search, and stroke your inner obsessive-compulsive all you want.
