Following the Ways in Winter's Twilight |
Ó

While there are enough realms in Winter's Twilight to explore for hours on end, another shining element in this game is its skill system. It's not that uncommon and a lot of us must probably be familiar with a system of assigning points to level up. In this game from Pixelbridge, however, it's not that simple.
Each player earns different kinds of experience points (XP) depending on the successful actions that they were able to perform:
- Let's say you were able to get a good slash out of a huge hulking gorilla. That'll earn you some CombatXP and SwordsXP.
- Depending on your class as a character, you get to spend these XPs in various specialized skills.
If you think MMOs are all about specialization and character customization, then some of you meticulous gamers might want to check this out. It's going to take more than just brute strength to develop your character. Because, here, you've got to follow the Ways. And when the game comes out by the end of this year, we'll see how far you can follow it.
