The official Auto Assault page has posted up some new info for us to mull over. This time they discuss how damage will work within the game. The damage in Auto Assault will break down into 5 categories, physical, fire, corrosive, energy and contamination.
Many are familiar with weapons that deal in physical damage, such as high-powered bullets or slugs. Flamethrowers can cause fire damage, while an acid sprayer does corrosive damage. Some weapon types deal multiple types of damage; incendiary bullets, for instance, do both physical and fire damage. Mutant weapons will often cause direct damage from the use of Contamination.
