Acclaim announces a new game titled BOTS |

Acclaim announced the beta stage of a new MMOG title BOTS yesterday afternoon. They are currently looking for closed beta testers, if you are interested you can register here. The game takes place in "cyberspace", whatever that means, and it is your job to destroy other BOTS that are being transformed into viruses because the sectors they are in are being corrupted. You can buy and trade accessories for endless combinations and begin your quest to save yourself and the digital world. The game is slated for release in the spring so the beta testing should be pretty smooth considering the little amount time they have.
BOTS features four different types of game play:
Players vs. Viruses: (PvE)
Multiple
players fight against Virus Bots. As you destroy Virus Bots, you
increase your level. Some Viruses drop items to help you through out
the level.
Players vs. Players : (PvP)
Test your skills in a head-to-head combat against 1 to 8 human opponents.
Capture the Flag :
You and fellow teammates fight your way to capture the opposing colors base.
Story Mode:
Fight with fellow players against the evil Virus Bots to defend your existence in the digital world.
