"Vintage" Tabula Rasa magazine scans

CGOnline.com is home of the first ever Tabula Rasa article written by Steve Bauman back in June 2004. It looked real vintage from our point of view, since NCSoft's game was still in its infant stages then. Obviously, it lacked much of the graphics and gameplay progress that the game went through in the hands of the dedicated developers. Those who've been at E3 2004 caught a glimpse of the actual game pictures and learned about the details on the mechanics of the game way before the TR team even decided to tackle the changes.

The game production was a clean slate each time, as Richard Garriott and his team have been keen on overhauling Tabula Rasa to the point that it's no longer the game that you see in these magazine scans. Still, wouldn't it be cool to actually reminisce and see how much has been transformed. You'd probably think it's, yeah, a bit on the dog-eared and yellowed-out like old paperbacks, but that's the point of vintage, guys. Tabula Rasa has grown more crisp and promising as time went by.
