Despite its impressive settings and gameplay mechanics, NetDevil and NCsoft had to shut down the servers of MMORPG Auto Assault back in August of this year due to its lack of subscribers.

It seems that some parts of the world, however, such as Japan's Akihabara district, are either still in denial or haven't received the shutdown notice. Via Siliconera, we've learned that one store in the said location is still selling Auto Assault time cards for a discounted price of 980 Yen (US$ 8.86).

But seriously, we are quite uncertain if this is just a mistake on the store owner's part or a blatant way of cheating its customers. The servers have been permanently shut down and these time cards are essentially good for nothing.
