Video: Warhammer Online's Disciple of Khaine on offensive support |
Ó
After hearing just how badass those Disciple of Khaine priests can get with the other character classes in EA Mythic's Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, here's a first hand explanation of how their powers work in a developer's video related by none other than the game's Creative Director, Paul Barnett.Just like we mentioned in our previous coverage, the dark elf disciples of Khaine aren't like your typical priest character classes in other MMORPGs. Instead of staying at the back peacefully healing their party mates, the Disciple of Khaine charges into battle while actively stealing the essence of their enemies and using them to either heal his party or afflict enemies with deadly DoT (Damage over Time) spells.
They definitely sound like something you don't want to tangle with when you're out on the battlefield. For those of you who prefer a more active role while supporting your party, you may want to look into trying out this versatile character class.
If you want to know more, feel free to listen to Paul Barnett's assessment on it yourself by taking a look at the video below.
