Vanguard: Saga of Heroes dev team moves to SOE's San Diego office |

We have just received word that the dev team for Sony Online Entertainment's (SOE) Vanguard: Saga of Heroes MMORPG has moved into the SOE office located in San Diego. The move will entail several changes for the Vanguard team, including the appointment of Thom Terrazas - an eight-year SOE veteran - as their new leader.The move will grant the Vanguard dev team further access to shared resources and the combined talent of the SOE's dev teams for their other games. On the downside of this news, it's also been reported that not all the members of the Carlsbad group will be invited to stay aboard.
For the gamer folk, this means that the developers may have just gotten additional means to make your in-game experience more enjoyable. For one, there's Vanguard's third patch, the first phase of which kicks in today. The update will carry several new features, including the hot new wyvern mount.
