They're hiring: NCSoft North America looking for community coordinators |
Ó
See, loving video games can get you in the industry... if you have the patience, work ethic, and skills needed to dazzle the competition that is. Sure, getting into the games industry isn't easy, but it's rewarding when you put your time into it. That being said, we're here to help.We found out on Tabula Rasa's community news page that NCSoft America is looking for a Community Coordinator. It sounds a lot like a combination of public relations and community building, as their description below shows:
The Community Coordinator is responsible for interacting with the greater community focused around their assigned game. Success in this role relies on a sound understanding of customer behavior combined with an ability to develop creative, innovative and compelling messaging. In-depth knowledge of the gaming industry and experience in dealing with online communities are key success factors in this job.
This could very well mean that they're looking for people to interact with the growing Tabula Rasa community, bringing them information and insight, as well as providing the backbone for better relations between gamers and developers. Of course, it could also simply mean a cushy job in a nice office in Texas. Either way, you've got nothing to lose by checking it out.
