Looks like the logos in Tabula Rasa is more than just a language: it's the key to learning the Eloh's gift that led to the advancement of knowledge and technology, and which ultimately led to an intergalactic war.The LOGOS is a science that allows the manipulation of matter, energy and force: basically harnessing the power to manipulate the universe. One use is the folding of space to travel great distances.
The history of the Bane, the species that seeks the enslavement of the galaxies that know of the LOGOS and can harness its power, may give the key to the Bane's weakness. The Bane was born from a faction of the Eloh, the species that gave the LOGOS to the universe. One race who was given the gift, the Thrax, abused this power and sparked a war with the Eloh.
A faction within the Eloh itself, the Neph, was affected greatly by the Thrax's betrayal and sought to enslave all other species that know of the LOGOS to prevent it from happening again. The Neph took in those who wanted the same goals, including the Thrax themselves. As a whole they are known as the Bane.
The Bane however, do not have mastery over the LOGOS, and it is their weakness. In Tabula Rasa, you will be playing a LOGOS-receptive soldier who can master the science of the LOGOS by travelling through the worlds in search of more knowledge of the science. More knowledge of the LOGOS gives you more abilities and can unlock locations to more LOGOS.
