Tales of Pirates: new events, screens, and goodies

Looks like IGG is really giving everyone the best first impression for Tales of Pirates. The MMO hasn't even gone to its full release version and there's already a couple of events and news for you guys to keep track of during open beta testing. First off, there's the whole "Double Exp points" gig that just ended. More than this, there's a new realm that will open up on April 4: Mermaid Island, which will also be providing you guys with more double exp. Consider it an extension for your early levelling up funk.

The Mermaid Island double exp event runs from April 4, 5 a.m. EST all the way 'til 5 a.m. of April 7. There's going to be a levelling up competition too. From 2 p.m. EST of the new realm's opening day, pirates who login into Mermaid Island will be qualified for the event. Those whose levels rank on the top by April 11, 2 p.m. EST, will be awarded some in-game booty:

1st prize (one player): a suit of pirate dress plus 10million coins
2nd prize (two players): a suit of pirate dress plus 5million coins each
3rd prize (three players): a suit of pirate dress plus 3million coins each
