Remember that scene in The Empire Strikes Back when Han Solo has to use Luke’s lightsaber to cut open a Tauntaun’s belly so he and Luke can uses its guts as a blanket? Because that’s a thing that totally happened. Anyway, if you’re still feeling bad for that Tauntaun, here’s your chance to make it up to the species: SWTOR is offering a baby Tauntaun to every player present during the deployment of the game’s latest massive update.

If you were an active SWTOR subscriber as of April 12, 12:00pm CDT, you are eligible to receive this limited edition pet. Here are the specifics on eligibility beyond subscription time:

• You must have purchased the game (duh)
• You must have either an active subscription or a redeemed time card
• You can’t be banned (also duh)

If you’re not currently an active subscriber, don’t worry—there’s a workaround for Tauntaun lovers everywhere. Apparently, anyone who purchases and activates Star Wars: The Old Republic on or before April 21, 12:00PM CDT will also receive the special little guy.

Oh, and if you’re already level 50, you just got a free month of game time. Party on! Additionally, lapsed subscribers will be given one free week of play, starting today and ending on April 19 at 11:59pm.

To summarize: Old players get a Tauntaun, new players get a Tauntaun, level 50 players get a free month, lapsed players get a free week.

Whew.
