RuneScape: music system currently disabled

If you've logged on to Jagex Ltd's RuneScape lately, you may have noticed that the game's music isn't working properly.

The developers of the game pointed out that the new music system has been causing some problems with the server load so they had to shut off a few of its components.

In the meantime, if you notice that a music track is not automatically selected when you move to a new area, you may have to select a track from the music player interface.

Players may also find that quest-specific music tracks are not getting unlocked because of the aforementioned problem. The developers promised that they will be unlocked after the problems are fixed.

Currently, the devs are still working on a fix for the problem and hope to have it up by next week. Be sure to keep checking back here for more updates on RuneScape.
